Info and Contacts
The first thing I want to say is that I love to take pictures.
What that means to you is that if you have a project, and you have an idea of what you want to spend on it, contact me. I am more than willing to work within almost any budget. The reason I say this is I feel a lot of people assume a professional photographer is too expensive to have at times when you really should have a professional photographer. A first birthday, a loved one coming home, or just a Sunday in the park with your family.
The prices on my home page are more averages than set prices, I want to be flexible enough to allow you to actually have the pictures you want at a price thats within your budget.
So, whats my story? I was born and raised in a small town in Southeast Texas, I graduated High School with a class of 8. (I said it was a small town.) I then attended the University of Texas at Austin. Discovering photography in 1995 I knew instantly it was what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I had the first exhibition of my artwork about a year after I started taking pictures at the Pro-Jex Gallery in Austin, Texas. This was followed by over 40 exhibitions in Dallas and Austin. I moved to the bay area in 2008 and currently I am teaching underprivileged students for the Spark Program.
I have an eclectic mix of newer digital cameras and older film cameras and several high end film scanners. There is more information on my blog about my equipment.
